The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) have teamed up to create a public service campaign aimed at Distracted Driving and its consequences.

Surgeons and other medical staff see the direct results of car accidents and the trauma caused by them. This new advertising and information campaign hopes to get the message across that distraction is a factor in many accidents and that Orthopaedic surgeons not only treat, but want to prevent accidental traumas from occurring in the first place.
